For this and other outside activities, I suggest a stick of "Mosquit-No", a pleasant-smelling, all natural, insect-repelling lotion bar made by Louise Hawkins.  Every evening my husband and I walk with our dog along a rail-to-trail path.  The deer flies and mosquitoes are brutal.  I tried using Louise’s "Mosquit-No" and was amazed that all but the occasional too-persistent mosquito stayed away – what a relief!
