Celebrate! Your Achievements Artisan: Lis Smith
More than ribbons, they are recognition of the work you do everyday with your animals and in your barn and pastures. They are an acknowledgement of the many hours spent practicing for the show ring, and validation of your breeding stock and practices. You don't need ribbons to prove your animal is a valued companion. But if you do compete together and want to remember that special show, a spectacular year, your retired champion or perhaps memorialize a partner who has passed away, then Celebrate! Ribbon Displays are the perfect option.
Show here is a 4' Celebrate! Ribbon Display w/ 8" x 10" photo frame (portrait orientation), double dowel, colonial stain. They are beautiful pieces; my poor photography doesn't do it justice.
Many events use ribbon awards - gymnastics, academia, sports. Use these for any item that can be hung. Beautifully handcrafted, you will be proud to display these ribbons racks in your living room or hallway, child's room, barn or kennel office, even at a show at the entry way to your kennel or stable area.

Displays are handcrafted upon receipt of orders; they need plenty of time for the stain to dry thoroughly before shipment so packing materials will not stick to and damage the finish. *TEMPORARILY, Celebrate! Ribbon Displays are available as a PICK-UP ONLY item. We are happy to try to meet you anywhere in central and/or southeast Ohio that may be convenient for you. We are looking for a new source of shipping boxes; custom-made boxes can be expensive! This site will be updated when regular shipping is again available.
Celebrate! Ribbon Displays are handcrafted by woodworker and sawyer, Lis Smith. She takes great pride in her craft and you are the benefactor!

Dennis & Holly Gamble and their Italian Spinoni, Booker, sent this photograph. Framed certificates surround Booker's photograph. This is a custom-made, 6’ wide, double-dowel Celebrate! Ribbon Display. The double-dowel allows for the staggering of ribbons.

Lis’ original drawings are now available as patterns that can be used for appliqués on quilts, pillows, jackets or anything you can imagine, for embroidery, painting, home décor, woodworking and other crafts. She strives to represent each breed or discipline as accurately as possible in a two-dimensional format. There are many horse designs out there, but very few - if any - are as beautiful as these!
Wood silhouettes and detailed woodcuts are made of Baltic Birch plywood. Baltic Birch is a beautiful wood with a smooth finish. Each piece is handcrafted and will arrive already sanded and ready to paint or stain.

Susan's Hand-painted Pottery is made in Ohio with Ohio clay! She started making these mini-dishes for Louise's lotion bars but they have so many uses. They are food-, dishwasher-, and safe to use in a conventional oven. Use as tea bag caddies or spoon rests; put one at each table setting for butter, salt or seasonings.
